Two important areas were covered: 1. Attire (What to Wear): Wear neat, clean, and appropriate clothing. Choose formal attire depending on the job.Avoid bright colours or flashy accessories. Ensure your shoes are clean and polished.Hair should be tidy and well-groomed. 2. Body Language: Good body language helps you make a positive first impression. We looked at the following key elements: Posture: Sit up straight, avoid slouching, and stay relaxed but confident.Gestures: Use hand gestures naturally, but don’t overdo them. Avoid fidgeting. Mannerisms: Be aware of nervous habits like tapping, playing with hair, or shaking legs.Eye Contact: Maintain good eye contact to show confidence and interest. Don’t stare or look away too often. Assignment - Over the 1 week starting today, students are to learn one new sentence daily to communicate in English.

These pillars form the foundation for long-term success and fulfilment at every stage of life. It was emphasised that success doesn't come overnight—it is the result of consistent hard work, dedication, and commitment, especially in their educational journey. While taking the "easy way out" might seem attractive in the short term, it often leads us away from our true goals and dreams. A key takeaway was that we cannot afford to be lazy in any of these three critical areas. Whether it's taking care of our physical and mental health, putting in the effort to learn and grow, or building a strong foundation for our careers, we must be willing to go the extra mile. We also highlighted how much support we receive freely from our parents, families, and even the governmentwhether it's through access to education, healthcare, or career opportunities. These are valuable resources and privileges that should be seen as opportunities to grow and succeed, not as things to be taken for granted or misused. Plan/Next Steps - 1. The winners under different categories that were announced on 7th August during the Internship awards are requested to keep the following 2 documents by 31st August. On September 1st week a link will be shared where they will need to upload these documents along with their bank details - Current academic enrollment proof OR, if you have completed more than 15 years of education, please provide your professional details. One letter of recommendation from a teacher with their signature. Note - Once the request has been made to upload the documents/details on a specific link, which will be communicated to you in September 2025. You will be given three reminders. If the requested information is not provided after the third reminder, the award will be forfeited. 2. Project update – Interns to update the AIMS section of their CLICS by Monday with the numbers and facts backed with pictures/video links in the format being shared. On Tuesday's come prepared to present their project in English. 3. During this session, students were guided on the importance of having a resume, how to create an effective one, and the essential details that should be included. Key points to keep in mind before and after writing a resume were also discussed. It was emphasised that a resume is the first step in applying for a job, and as such, it must be crafted with accuracy, clarity, and attention to detail. A well-written resume creates a strong first impression on potential employers or interviewers and plays a crucial role in moving forward in the recruitment process. Assignment: Students are required to:

• Create a resume based on the key points discussed during the session and the format provided.
• Be ready to present their resume in the next session 

3P’s skill development session held on 22nd August @ Observation Home For Boys Topic – Importance of health and education – Overview – This session was conducted by Mr.Vinayak from MCKS Food for the Hungry Foundation. During this session, she covered the below – 1. Importance of education and how it will help them in their holistic growth. He also emphasised that every child must complete their degree so that they have a good career. He mentioned that if we spend 16-17 years of education doing it seriously and by not taking the easy part, the remaining 30-40 years of our life will bear fruit that we will enjoy with ease. 2. Good health – Our lives are very much dependent on our health; if we have good health, we will be able to study/work better and also enjoy and be happy in our lives. He also taught a few physical exercises and meditation that the students need to do on a day-to-day basis to develop concentration skills

3P’s skill development session held on 22nd August @ Government KSP Goppankoppa School – PFA pics PFA – Pics Topic – Importance of health and education – Overview – This session was conducted by Mr.Vinayak from MCKS Food for the Hungry Foundation. During this session, she covered the below – 1. Importance of education and how it will help them in their holistic growth. Discipline – Emphasising the importance of time management and staying organised to create a structured learning environment. 2 . Concentration – Encouraging active listening and focused observation to absorb information more effectively. 3. Making Notes – Highlighting the value of summarising key aspects and creating concise notes to reinforce understanding. 4. Asking Questions – Promoting curiosity and clarity by encouraging learners to ask questions and resolve any doubts they may have. 5 . Practice – Stressing the need for consistent practice, not just to understand concepts but also to remember and apply them confidently.
