Inaugurating the #Education_and_Awareness_Programme on #Cervical_Cancer at Lamington Girls High School ---------------------------------------------- It was an honour to inaugurate the #Education_and_Awareness_Programme on #Cervical_Cancer conducted at Lamington Girls High School by #Lions_Club_of_Hubli_Parivar in collaboration with #HCG_NMR_Cancer_Centre. Thank you Shri.Mahendra Singhi ji for inviting me as the Chief Guest. Your work for the upliftment of the society inspires me. In view of creating awareness on Cervical cancer, #Dr_Lepakshi and #Dr_Archana briefed on early signs and Vaccination program for Cervical Cancer. Education material alongwith information about Free Screening camp and Vaccination programme with benefits were handed over to the students and their parents. Despite being highly preventable through early screening methods and vaccination, cervical cancer remains the fourth most common cause of cancer among women worldwide. Research into cervical cancer prevention, diagnostics, signaling pathways, and therapeutics is therefore crucial.
