  3. I keep going to the phone when an alert comes
  4. I keep going to other links because of recommendations or other alerts
  5. The business model of all social media or free platforms such as youtube is : to sell advertisement to companies
  6. But in order to sell advertisement they have to show how many users/subscribers are there and how much time they spend on their platform
  7. So they want to keep you on their platform as long as possible
  8. Thus the recommendations, alerts and other aspects such as “like button” “followers” “streaks” and more …
  9. So what should I do: Switch off all non essential alerts , keep the phone away at home, delete apps that can be accessed on the computer and are not essential
  10. STOP clicking on recommendations
  11. ONE SMART PHONE AND FAMILY SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT(S) PER FAMILY .. so children come to understand how to use phone and social media vs getting addicted
  12. We all want to go viral and so do social media companies
  13. False info has the chances of going viral the most, entertainment comes second and last comes useful/education info
  14. How to find the truth on a post/topic: Talk to those around you first, The elders at home and school, The friends and relatives.. after discussion and thought forward the post or like or …
  15. Key : Be a little more AWARE when using the phone ..
  16. USE TECHNOLOGY LIKE THE BICYCLE : Just when you need it
  17. Always build on ideas that help You, Others and Environment
  18. Help the tech business to remove addictive algorithms that are working against the children and youth by draining their ATTENTION.

What should be the business model:

Let the platforms make money from wifi providers based on the data consumed by the user
