i-INVENT NABROS@ IBMR organized virtual panel discussion on 18th November 2020. Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world Hence discussion also geared towards Study Life Balance during these COVID Times.

Following were the curation questions
 
1.Study @ Home vs Study @ College
2.Technology usage and balance
3.Communication needs for remote vs onsite study

 four students from IBMR were selected as panelists and students shared their personal experience in line with questions . Session was conducted for 1 hour 15 min. last 15 min was Q&A

Following are the discussed points-

  • Students feel that studying at college is more effective than studying at home
  • In college students can ask doubts and get answers directly and have one to one discussion
  • Few students feel that something is better in terms of studying , online classes have helped to understand the subjects.
  • Technology usage has been increased in this pandemic and it has its own pros and cons.
  • It is essential to achieve balance in usage of technology as it may affect the quality time of students
  • Establishing the communication with faculties was done via chats and texts during the online classes
  • Students used what’s app as a mode of communication most of the times. To communicate about classes , changes in schedule and for getting the doubts clarified.
