Minutes : iINVENT _Partners Meeting Attendees : Abhi I Sarah I Gerard I Mr.Bazil I Ottilie I Thotad I Apoorva Date : 16th September 2021 i-INVENT NABROS: Connect with our and or efforts @ https://iinvent.wpengine.com/ Accomplishments : 1.ONE1947 Unplugged Concert 2021. 2..The 3 C project has been launched and has kick started in Srilanka and Maldives and will kick start in the Govt schools. 3.DDCLICS - Conducted exams for 7,8,9 grade - there was GD session conducted where the expert panel shortlisted the top#3 winners - the winners were announced during the ONE947 Concert - The top#3 winners will be awarded with cash prize, certificates and trophies and more - The top#3 schools recognized. 4.STEAM Sessions : STEAM Sessions 21 session - also in line with the ARH project + Daily Review sessions of what the students have learned on a daily basis have started from August 30th - 9+ sessions conducted for AMITSU. Plan/Next Steps: 1.AWE Project launch + update on all CLICS that included the 15 min STEAM sessions. 2.Training to be scheduled for CLICS on the AWE project+15 min STEAM sessions. 3.Cross pollination of AWE project among the CLICS from different regions based on the success we see and the templates can be replicated accordingly for other CLICS or regions. 4.A event and session in pipeline with DCF Yashpal sir which will be in line with the book that he wrote and published and also from a Carrer standpoint. Once the event is firmed the invite will be shared with the partners. MCLICS : Connect with Sarah and her efforts and projects @ https://iinvent.wpengine.com/vaadhoo Accomplishments : 1.The 3 C project has been launched and has kick started with the project to enable Maldives to be become a plastic free nation by 2030. Plan/Next Steps: 1.Team alignment so that we can discuss and firm the design phase. 2.Ottilie can be on the panel to support the AWE project, especially with the Miyawaki forest set up. Bengeri : Connect with Mr. Bazil and his efforts and project @ https://iinvent.wpengine.com/bengeri Accomplishments : 1.The schools have started with COVID norms in place. Plan/Next Steps: 1.Gerard will work with Bazil sir to deploy the 15 min Classroom session in line with the AWE project by October 1st week. 2.Bengeri CLICS will be updated with the 15 min Classroom session in line with the AWE project. BRIC : Connect to their efforts and project @https://iinvent.wpengine.com/bric/ Accomplishments: 1.The center has been renovated and is one of the best centers in the District. Plan/Next Steps: 1.Gerard will work with the leadership at BRIC to start with the computer/technical training through the sessions. AMITSU : Connect with Alison and her efforts @ https://iinvent.wpengine.com/amitsu Accomplishments : 1.ARH project under the 3 C project have kick started in line with the Design phase. 2.STEAM Sessions 21 session - also in line with the ARH project + Daily Review sessions of what the students have learned on a daily basis have started from August 30th - 9+ sessions conducted. 3.The kids have been showing good progress towards their personality development and project as well as academics. Plan/Next Steps: 1.Design Phase is scheduled Oct 30th for the ARH project - Bazil sir and his son can be on the team to provide consultation on the design. 2.The STEAM sessions and Daily Review sessions with the children is ongoing. • Sponsored cash prize for the top#3 students from the exams we conducted.
• Organized weekly Health session for the Government schools.

2.Miyawaki Project : worked with DCF was created to ensure we have a green cover with an object to create a model that can be created regional plants/trees that have greater surviving rate and a mix of trees that be grown together , use of smaller space and vertical growth. Now the Government is also opted this model where there are providing the space and the local business and NGO's invest in the project. Plan/Next Steps : 1.The project in focus is preservation of water bodies that is cleaning of lakes, ponds etc - The students and children can join these efforts as lake wardens and also they can start writing letters to the government to avoid industrial waste into the waterbodies. MASON CLICS : :Connect with Mr.Mason and his efforts @ https://iinvent.wpengine.com/mason-clics/ Plan/Next Steps: 1.Mr.Mason will get back this week with the schedules for the STEAM session plus reactivating the Pen pal program as the schools have started. 2.Pen Pal: The recommendation and ideas is to use the pen pal platform where the kids start writing leeters in line with the AWE project of their region - This idea can compliment the project of Ottilie where the children write letter to the Government to save water bodies from getting polluted and damaged.
