Overview : This sessions emphasized on what is a project and the 3 key aspects of a project, that is time management I task management, I expectation management. Since we know that the schools have moved towards project-based learning for students to gain practical exposure so that they can connect their learning to the reality it becomes necessary for students to understand what does a project include to successfully manage a project. Every project that we undertake has a start date or end date or let us say what every task we take up that has a start and end date is termed as a project, be it you school academic year/syllabus a new skill you learn, the tasks that you do in a day right from waking up to going to bed. Any project we undertake has 3 key factors we need to manage 1.Time Management -The time frame to complete specific tasks in a project to meet the end goal I 2.Task Management - The different activities / steps / process to complete a project I Expectation Management - Refers to the desired result one would want to have at the end of the project and this depends on the how the time and tasks are managed. Learning the art to manage this factors will enable you to become successful project managers and help you work on any project effectively and efficiently. Plan/Next Steps - #1.Assignment - to be completed by Jan 22nd , 2024 - Share Learnings and Questions from today’s session on the CLICS -Post AIMS on the CLICS- #2 Each.Project - update on the respective CLICS per the below. -The project that you have selected and why have you opted for this project and how will it help you, the community and environment. -What are the major tasks involved in this project. -What are the responsibilities/tasks for each team member. #2.Thushara will present in the next meeting in 10min about the waste management project and how it compliments the gardening project, keeping the ppt thumb rules in mind. #3.Project for this Quarter - Start on the 3C project – Creative, Clean, Community.Invite their family, friends, and anyone they believe to join the weekly meeting by forwarding the invite.Nominate individuals who have done good work for awards or as speakers at the monthly event. #4. iINVENT NABROS Monthly BS - Aishath and Neetra will be one of the speakers.Dry run on 17th Jan at 8pm IST/ SL time and 7:30pm Maldives time.Main event on 18th Jan at 8pm IST/ SL time and 7:30pm Maldives time. #5.Evaluation Criteria’s – The #3 evaluation criteria retreated as below – ATTENDANCE – Meetings I Events I Workshops I Projects.PARTICIPATION – Meetings I Events I Workshops I Projects.ENGAGEMENT – Attendance per the schedule I Completion of Assignments and Projects I AIMS Submission on a weekly basis. Risks/AOI - No AIMS submission on the CLICS from interns of Srilanka, Maldives, and DCPUD. Only 2 AIMS submitted on DDCLICS.Projects - Apart from Akhil and Aishath no interns have started on any projects.
