Overview – This session was conducted by Dr Deepti Joshi , MS, FIPO , Pediatric Ophthalmologist at M M Joshi Eye Institute Hubli, Co Chair for Masoom: Young Indians, Hubli – Dharwad (an anti child sexual abuse vertical). In todays session Dr Deepti Joshi shared with the children the importance of cyber safety and what they should and should not be doing over the internet/while using social media and how to prevent themselves from becomes victmes of cyber crimes. She also mention that it not always good to belive what is shown on the social media and also not to make our lives public on social media. It was also discussed with the children that they need to use technology/internet for their education and project vs just entertainment. Assignment for this week – Students to enagage and partcipate during the sessions and to ask questions.Next session the assigments for the students will be shared as today was the first session.
