Overview – This session was presented by Kavya a 10th-grade student from India and an iINVENT NABROS. She shared updates about the project she is working on the “Literacy Project for Elder Citizens” in line with the goal, accomplishments, and next steps/plan of her project, she also mentioned how the internship program/3P skills have helped her in this project. She also mentioned that she has taught 6 elder citizens between the age group of 40 – 70 years and the syllabus she covered thus far is basic Kannada to read and write, basic concepts of mathematics, awareness lessons, and also taught them to make their signatures. As the next steps, she plans to work with her teachers and see how she could make her classes/this project more interesting, plus try to include 4-5 more elderly citizens to join her classes. During this session, 5 of the elders who she is teaching came and shared their experiences and learning for Kavay’s sessions/project. Assignment– Interns to update the AIMS section of your CLICS by sharing your learnings/understanding from the session, you may also input the queries you may have.Next session on 8th Nov, Basava will be presenting her project.
