In today’s session as well the students practiced the 3 dance moves in Kathak that is Namaskara (Salutation) which is about body movements, bowing down as a mark of respect which symbolizes humility and gratitude, Hastakas (Hand Gestures in Mudras) and Mudras which are used to convey emotions, stories, and ideas. Hastakas refer to specific hand movements. They practiced these 3 moves on the songs Makana and Namaami. Assignment –
