Overview: A session on Modal Verbs was conducted by Ms Yasmeen M., M.A., M.Ed., Assistant Teacher at Government High School, Shri R. Bommai, Hubli. During the session, Ms Yasmeen explained the concept and correct usage of modal verbs—Will, would, shall, and should —and highlighted their importance in effective English communication. She illustrated how these modals express ability, possibility, permission, obligation, and suggestions. The session helped students understand how to use these verbs appropriately in both spoken and written English, thereby enhancing their overall language proficiency and confidence in communication.
