Overview – This session on Oral health and hygiene was conducted by Dr. Preetha J Shetty, BDS, MDSI, Professor, Department of Public Health Dentistry, SDM College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Sattur, Dharwad. Dr. Preetha J Shetty shared details and practices of taking care of our dental health, plus how having good dental health will help us to speak clearly and maintain a good facial structure, how to brush correctly, and the right food we need to consume. She also told the students to stay away from the consumption of tobacco to avoid mouth cancer-like diseases.
