Watch /Listen: 3P’s skill development online session on 21st January at Observation Home For Boys, by clicking here – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izfhDximrNk Please note – Below is the summary/notes from the session. Please review the recording shared for more details – #1. Only we can judge how much concentration we have paid while doing any work. #2. How to practise concentration - we need to pay attention/concentrate on the day-to-day simple activities that we do, that might be eating food, getting ready, brushing teeth, etc. By paying attention/concentration on doing small things in our day-to-day life, it will become a practise and it will help us to pay attention to bigger tasks/work. #3. Concentration means that we are focusing on what we are currently doing. For example, if we are playing, we should only focus on playing,g not think about other things like studies or other work. #4. When we understand why we lost our concentration, this is called awarness, if we are aware of why we lost our concentration, it will help us to focus back on what we are supposed to do. If you are aware where your concentration is lost, you have solved the problem, and this will help you to get your focus in the right direction. #5.“How do we regain our concentration if we lose it?” - *Every night before going to bed, think about what work we paid attention to and did not pay attention to and thank God for the work where you paid attention and did and also pray to give you the strength to pay attention to the work on all tasks to do with concentration and to pay more attention where you could not pay attention. * In the morning, pray to God to help you give you the strength to do all the work with concentration today. We usually lose concentration while we think of the past or think about the future, so during this situation we need to pray to God to help us learn from the past and what pary to God that whatever happens in the future, take care of it, but help us to pay attention to what we are working on. *Practise breathing in and breathing out by focusing on counting your breath, which changes the pattern of your breathing. How work - The children are to practise the above 3 points during the week to increase their concentration and presence in the next class, whether it helps them or not.
