Using High School Education in Real Life This past November, my family and I went to Spain where we traveled through Madrid, Seville, etc. With this came many Spanish speakers, and I had just finished learning future tense in Spanish (I am in Spanish 3). But, the highlight from this was the fact that something from school became applicable to the real world. I was able to talk to the speakers to an extent, and though many people knew English, there were quite a few who didn’t. For example, when we were traveling in a taxi, I was able to tell the driver what the address we were heading to was. Another instance was when we were in a restaurant, and I asked how long the wait would be for a table as well as told what we wanted to order. It was a different accomplishment compared to just getting a good grade on a test, it was being able to use the knowledge when it mattered. Is this the way on how we can stop/park in a staggered formation at an intersection etc during/post lock down for maintaining a safe distance.
Is this the way for going to the malls or public areas in a lockdown or post lockdown or can this be a new norm.
