Intern Project updates – INDIA CLICS Arhan – He spoke on how his project where towards raising funds for a 115 year old theater has was damaged due to fire.He worked with his father to compose a Marathi song using 15 instruments.Maldives Laina – She worked on her gardening and oragnic manure project, she was able to grow 2 vegetables and a fruit.Aishath – Beach cleaning project – she was not able to do the field work due to her exams, but her father, sister,brother along with other elder from the community worked on this project and collected around a thousand bottels.#4. 3P’s skill session : Topic : 5 C’s for Effective communication. Overview : In today’s session the 5 C’s to be focused while communicate be it in written and verbal was discussed and how practicing / focuing on the 5C’s will enable them to be effective/efficient communicators. 5 C’s for Effective communication – CLARITY – Clarity in taught is the key.CONCISENESS – Be to the point/subject.Concrete – Supported by facts/figures.COMPLETENESS – Start and end point + call to action.COURTESY – Respectful and Honest. #5.Plan/Next Steps – The interns are requested update the CLICS with their project updates before the meeting.The criteras to win and qualify to the internship program was discussed.For details please visit https://iinventme.org/internship.This Friday Sept 13th Laina from Maldives will be presenting her gardening andorhanic manure project, it is madatory for all interns to join, each intern to come up with atleast 1 questionInterns to post their learning and questions if any from today’s and every session on the CLICS.For those who could not join this session you may visit https://iinventme.org/internship and in the AIMS section /on this post list to the recording of the session.Students in India have their exams next week, may not be able to attend the interns meeting, invite will be shared by tomorrow.Aishath will help Laina and send the ppt for review by tomorrow evening, dry run will be sheculed with Laina on 12th Sept. at 7pm Maldives time.Students who have exams need not join the internship session during that week, the key and priority is they acedemics. #6.AOI/Risks – Currently none of the inters are meeting all the internship criterias.
