Overview – In todays session it was discussed with the children as to why and how we need to manage our money from the income we get and its importance that was expained to them thorugh - The #3Golden rule of money management - #1: Don't spend more than you earn. #2. “7-Day Rule” #3. Budgeting. And - The pillars on how we can manage our money from the income we earn - (25 50 25 Rule) -
- Savings – 25%.
- Spending – 50% (Needs 30% and Wants 20%).
- Investment – 25%.
- Kavya and Basava from India shared the updated on the Elder citizen teaching project.
- Smitha shared about how she was motivated by the project of Kavya and Basava which inspired to teach her grandmother to write.
- The interns from Maldives - Asiahath,Lana and Laiq focused the last 2 weeks more towards their studies.
- Interns to update the AIMS with the details that they want to talk about before coming to the session or after the session.
- Each intern/student to present their project updates in line with accomplishment, challenges and any lessons learnt pertaining to the 3 P’s, plus how one or more of the 3P’s skills have helped them.
- If they do not have a project of their own then they can opt from iINVENT 3 projects (AWE/Plastic/GreenEdu ) by visiting iinventme.org/awedd or what has been specified on your regional/institutional CLICSStudents to share what they are doing for their community from their end from AIMS they have learned from iINVENT.
- Review/listen to the session posted https://iinventme.org/brainstorm-concerts/ and on the AIMS of the particular create a post with their understanding and where they might have applied it.
- Starting June 1st need to conduct 1 session a week in line with the 3P’s live streamed.
- None of the interns are completing their assignments per the scheduled dates.
- No interns from Srilanka joined the session today.
