#Dharwad_Heritage_Walk - #ABKSS #All_Saints_Church_Dharwad (1888) ------------------------------------------------------------ As a part of Dharwad Heritage Walk that was conducted in collaboration with #District_Administration during Akhila Bharatha Kannada Sahithya Sammellana we visited one of the oldest and most beautiful churches of Dharwad #All_Saints_Church at Haliyal Road. All Saints Church is an Anglican church which was built in 1888. It is a replica of British country church and was commissioned for the European officers, very close to the barracks and the Gymkhana club (1886) We had the august presence of #Dharwad_DC_Smt_Deepa_Cholan, #ZP_CEO_Dr_B_C_Satheesha , #Additional_Commissioner_Public_Instructions Maj Siddalingayya Hiremath Kas, #DCP_Mr_B_S_Nemagouda, #Additional_Director_Tourism_Mr_Bhajantri and other officers. We thank Rev. Martin Borgai for his prayers for the successful celebration of Kannada Sahithya Sammelana, Smt. Usha. Joseph, Mr. Harry Joseph, Mr. Steve Abraham ( He was a great help in coordinating the visit to the church ), Mr. Hemant Eden and Mrs. Sophie Eden for their hospitality and blessings. We thank Mrs. Usha Joseph for sharing the church's rich heritage with us and for also giving us gifts ( Book written by her ).
