Center for Learning, Innovation, Creativity and Startup (CLICS) supports the students in the children’s home(s) in SriLanka.
About
Why:
AMI Tsunami Children’s Home is an idea that manifested when the family was saved from the Tsunami of 2004. The purpose of our efforts is to support children in need in SriLanka.
How:
Provide kids in need with boarding, education, career and medical support. In addition we hope to provide leadership, frame work, guidelines, design and consulting for those interested to start and run a Children’s home.
What:
Enable our children in SriLanka to grow into healthy, happy, responsible and successful citizens.

STUDENTS

Last month we had planted ladies fingers. We watered them every morning and every evening and we look after them very well. We put manure to them. Now the plants are little big.
This week also we added kitchen waste to the WMP bins. The waste in the bins are in dry state.

Alison madam brought some cabbage plants to us. This is the way we plan them.
First we make some holes.
Then we put fertilizer and mixed with soil.
Then we planted the plants and watered them
Now we are watering them in every morning and every evening.

From the three day training I had learnt about two modes of communication. One is innovation center page and other is project portal If the innovation center page we use share and give our ideas in the world. We use the project portal for give or share a idea our team members. We learnt about the standard task list. It had four important tasks. First one is

We should update details about what we done for the community or the Amitsu home.
On day two I learnt how to update time sheet, how to update note book, how to update the calendar and create a task and sub tasks.
On day three I learnt how to create a card, update a card and how to move a card on column to other coumn.
