Merry Christmas
So,
My dad lived a very minimal life. Office, work, home, us. He never thought about himself. I’ve always wondered how a person can only give. All he asked from me was amazing grades. I guess all parents do that. He had a bounty number of crazy ideas which did make sense and even a bigger love for plants. He was a control freak. The discipline what we had was curbing but now when i think about it, i guess we all need it. He had a crazy childhood, from poking his friend’s ass with a compass and being a sport fanatic to growing up and building a world which could keep us stable no matter what happened. Kids, don’t ever miss out on your parents talks. They’re important.
I had gotten so used to him scolding me to study that it stopped mattering to me, because i followed his words. He may not have been the coolest dad who was okay with me having a boyfriend or going out with friends for a veryy long time or sparing me from studying, but he was a dad. A pretty good one.
