This collection began as a collaboration, not a business plan. At the State Home for Women, a group of women — many differently abled, all navigating circumstances that brought them here — began learning to crochet and craft, taught by interns from the Fashion and Technology Department at KLE University.

What started as skill-sharing sessions grew into something sturdier. Week by week, the women built fluency in stitches and techniques; the interns learned as much about patience, design, and craft as they taught. Neither group set out to start a label. The work simply got good enough, and steady enough, to become one.

Today, that same partnership takes made-to-order requests — apparel, accessories, and crafts, each piece still made by hand by the women who learned the craft here. Every order supports their continued training and income, and keeps the collaboration between the Home and the university’s design students active and growing.
