Plan/Next Steps : 1.Mrs.Loni Sagio’s has connected to a school in India(Krishna Public School Raipur) where the kids make small project in relation to culture one what was done and exchanged between the kids was a recipe book. 2.Mr.Mason will visit Mrs.Loni Sagio’s 7th grade class next week after Easter and present to the kids the idea of the pen pal program through Mason CLICS, so that the kids can use this platform to continue on their cross cultural and geography class projects. Also these kids who are in 7th will go to their 8th grade that Mr. Mason teaches so that he can continue the efforts with them. 3.Harry has informed Mr. Oguro to inform his students to respond to the replies of their letters but has not heard back,he will follow up with him once more and also check with him if the new students who will start in his class in April would participate in the pen pal program.Harry will also reach out to other interested kids that he knows off and guide them to… Read more »

Plan/Next Steps : Partner Meeting – today 25th March 10:30 am CST – Mr.Mason has a class and will not be able to attend. The letter from Rily Gallaghar, came in but was just a kind of test, Mr. Mason will have his 4 geography students start on the pen pal program. Mr.Mason discussed the MASON CLICS pen pal program with his counterpart Miss Loni Sagio and she seems to be very interested,will be inviting her to next weeks meeting with Japan CLIS. The plan that she starts this program as she teaches 7th graders and next year when the kids go to 8th grade he will continue with them. The plan is to merge this meeting with Japan CLICS meeting at 6:15 am CST starting next week,Gerard will confirm with Harry and schedule this. Minutes: Status Meeting Attendees : Gerard/Mr.Mason Date : 11th March,2021 Accomplishments : Pen Pal – 1.The kids from India and Srilanka CLICS have responded to the letters of the kids from Japan. 2.The kids from India CLICS have started on this programme. Plan/Next Steps : 1.Per Mr.Mason will have his 8th grade history students start on the letter program today, they will start writing new letter, they can use either the schools or their parents email id. 2.OG participation in the i-INVENT program -Per Mr.Mason since the kids are at home its becomes difficult for him to connect with them, but on April 12 half of the class will be coming to school on either days so he will encourage them to engage in the i-INVENT program, would also let us know if we can start with the monthly Brainstorm session with them 3.Pen Pal Meeting with Japan counter part – 12th March at 8pm CST, Harry will provide an update on when would the Japanese students respond back to their pen pal, these kids have graduated. Pen Pal – The students or kids from Japan and SriLankan have started to collaborate.
Plan/Next Steps –
1.Pen Pal – The kids from India, Srilanka, and Maldives CLICS will start participating in the letter program on MASON CLICS. Mr. Mason will have his students as well to start posting new letters or responding to the letter as well, the plan is to start with selected kids, and then expand, he will keep us posted on the ticket/mail chain.
2.The physical letters that Mr.Mason distributes back in December got delayed due to COVID,he would plan and let us know he needs assistance on this as well.
3.Brainstorm session with OG students – Mr.Mason provide a confirmation by next Thursday.
Interns/Curators from OG – Mr.Mason has a meeting with the parents and will keep us posted on this update as well.

No traction from OG students and community towards the i-INVENT program or efforts.
