My idea

is to contribute to sustainable eco friendly projects with my music, art, gardening, aviation engineering interests and teaching skills in order to help my family, community and nature.

TUSHARA INNOVATION GARDEN (TIG)

at Amitsu Childrens Home is an initiative to cultivate your AIM – Art, Ideas and Music, that help everyone and environment.  You may join the effort as a student, mentor or subject matter expert.

Biomimicry

As history has taught us, nature has everything we need  to know to succeed. I am pursuing my AIM’s with a focus to emulate what is in nature:  Biomimicry.
01. Art and Music.

Art that compliments one’s own nature and what is around us can be envisioned only from Innovation Garden.

02. Ideas and Teaching.

Teaching what I know and sharing my ideas in turn helps me learn more.

03. Sustainability.

What good is any effort if it does not compliment the source of it’s existence.

As usual I had add kitchen waste like beetroot peels and banana peels in this week.

Last week I had asked from kids would they liked to join to our Waste management project and Gardening project. They had agreed with me.The names of two kids who like to work in Waste Management Project are Shalika and Rumeshani. The names of the two kids who like to work in Gardening Project are Charuka and Sasikala.

Personal experience and Learning from the Gardening Project and Waste Management project.
Firstly in gardening project,

I had learnt many things about mother nature. How plants grow, what texture of the soil that each and every plant need, what are the manure plants need and I had learnt many Bio logical things from the garden are the main things I had learnt from Gardening.

The personal experiences that I had form doing this project are, Now I can choose a suitable place to plants vegetables and fruits and also I can treat every kind of plants.

Secondly related to Waste Management project,

I had learnt how to produce organic manure, how to create a suitable equipments like a waste collecting bin and a stick to mix them well and also what type waste that I need to add for creating organic manure.

And the life experiences are we can create our own manure for our plants in gardening project

I had add banana peels, coconut peels and onion peels to our waste bin. And mix them well.

We had pluck tomatoes from our garden and made a salad from tomatoes and again some tomatoes are ripping.
