Sharks.
Sharks are fish that live in seas and oceans across the world. Some sharks are tiny, other are giants. Some are gentle and some are fierce. Shark’s do not have bones. Their skeletons are made from light, stretchy cartilage. There are hundred of kinds of sharks.Sharks have been livung on Earth for 400 million years. They were around at the tine of the dinosaurs. Can you imagine a fish that has a head shaped like a hammer.? Or one that can gobble up a sea lion whole? Sharks are some of the world’s most amazing creatures. The strange hammerhead shark has eyes on each side of its head. It swings its head from side to side to get an all- round view.
The Solar System
The sun, as we see it, is a huge ball of very hot gas measuring about 1, 380,000 kilometres in diameter. Dark spots can be often be seen on the sun’s surface, these are known as Sun spots and they come and go frequently. These spots stand out as dark patches since they are cooler as compared to the hot area by which they are surrounded. Huge flames called prominence are constantly shot out from the surface of the sun. The sun has its own gravitational field which is strong enough to keep the eight planets in its family revolving around it. The sun’s family comprises of, in order of revolution, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus. These planets move around the sun in the same direction in an elliptical orbit. The planets also rotate on their own axis’ as they revolve around the sun. The sun’s family of planets and their respective moon is called the “Solar System”.
We cam get many work from the waste. We all can see in the world people throw many things that can be used. I can certify that from a small try we can make important things for the people that is thrown as waste. For an example when we take the country Japan, the sports items, dolls are produced by the waste like pieces of glasses and clothes. In Sri Lanka we can see milk tins and fish tins among the waste. From these tins we can make toy carts and kerosene lamps easily. We can collect the kitchen waste and make manure and put them to the vegetable, fruit and flower plants. From this we can get fresh fruits, vegetables and beautiful flowers. Many people throw their clothes when they could not wear them. I think we can give the clothes to the poor persons who are in the world.
This week to the WM bin we had put kitchen waste by drying them in sunlight. We had put coconut powder, tea powder as normally. In addition to that we added banana peels, Some parts of eggplant, leaves. water melon that we do not get to eat. There are many manure created in the bin. We put waste and mix it well everyday.
This week in the music class I had given the small kids an assignment. They had faced to the paper well. They had got a good mark for it. I had gave fifty marks for the theory paper and fifty marks for the practical test. This is how they had got marks for the monthly exam.
This week we had put water for the plants. And we had put manure for the plants. Now the tress have many vegetables.
