A single tree produces 260 pounds of oxygen per year
All above numbers are approximate
Typically the Forest Department provides free trees

Protect the young tree – This concept can be applied – Watch the video
Trees properly placed around buildings can reduce air conditioning needs by 30%
A mature tree removes almost 70 times more pollution than a newly planted tree
A single tree produces approximately 260 pounds of oxygen per year. That means two mature trees can supply enough oxygen annually to support a family of four
One tree can absorb as much carbon in a year as a car produces while driving 26,000 miles
Over the course its life, a single tree can absorb one ton of carbon dioxide

“Havarah Dheefa!” / When forces collide. – Andhiri Andhirin attacks Gdh. Vaadhoo. (Circa 1530 ) – The Tides of Chaos: Prelude to Darkness -Acrylic and watercolor on canvas -concept art for the novel -local and historical art Bio:- So I decided to try out a style using acrylics. This piece depicts one of the most climatic chapters in my novel. The Havaru…(literally meaning 6 times) is the name given to the elite Royal guards in service of the sultan. In Maldivian history their origins date back to decades and is assumed to be tied with the history surrounding the island of Vaadhoo. It’s even assumed that they’re divided into two factions called “Dhevaru”, “isthinvaru” and “fasthinvaru”. isvaru, velaanaavaru, hakuraavaru, dhaharaavaru, faamudheyrivaru, maafaiyvaru. Similar to either different units or platoons found in modern military. In the novel (and based on several findings) I had based the concept of them in one such way and these elite group of people were trained in the arts of fighting at a fort in Vaadhoo. A young Andre Andrade (Andhiri Andhirin) launches an attack using his first assigned & commandeered vessel -The São João Baptista-a super galleon. A warship that was design to unleash devastation. I… Read more »
-Burecca of Maldives- “Burecci Ranin” / The Queen consort -Oil & Watercolor on A3 Palazzo Coldpressed Heavyweight Paper -Character concept portrayal -Local & Historical art Quick note:- Decided to do another character portrayal this time, the formidable Burecca of Maldives. Another pivotal character rom Vaadhoo, Burecca’s role pretty much showcases her as a brutal woman that fought to get what she wants. For her portrayal I blended a touch of tribal look to suit her a fighting physique as well as giving her a touch of traditional design on her clothings. (The traditional “libaas” came to be only much later) Her exposed breast is a touch to the historical facts that women back in the day wore essentially very little to no clothing at all. Often exposing their upper body and bosom. Bio:- those days young Princesses were educated in the martial arts as much as young princes. After her brother Siri Ananda Sultan Ali V (1512 -13)ascended the throne conflicts arose between them. This led her to travel east to the Kingdom of Aceh (known to the Maldivians as Asey Cara) on the island of Sumatra. There she completed her education and perfected her martial arts before returning home to… Read more »
Vanguard – Andhiri Andhirin attacks Gdh. Vaadhoo
-Circa 1530-
(From The Tides of Chaos: Prelude to Darkness)
-Watercolor on A3 Palazzo
-Local & historical art
-Cover and backdrop concept
-Maritime art
Bio:- Gdh. Vaadhoo plays a pivotal role in the novel, and in the first book depicts one of the most epic fights too.It depicts the clashing battle where a “young” Andhiri Andhirin/Andre Andrade launches an attack on Vaadhoo in Gaafu Dhaal Atoll in the Maldives, using his first commanded galleon. The battle is one of biggest in the prequel novel and where Andhiri Andhirin underestimates the local royal guards called “Havaru” forcing him to retreat. (In the book the Havaru- is originated and trained in Vaadhoo) I also painted this piece as a cover concept when the time comes to publish the novel.
Kamba Aisha
1. Kamba Aisha:-
-Acrylic on Canvas
– Graphic novel template
Bio:-
By far one of the most challenging in my practice in acrylic. “Kamba Aisha” or Princess Aisha, is one of the most pivotal people in our history. Strong willed and willing to do whatever’s necessary she’s famous for having playing an integral role both as a mother, a royalty and as a woman as well. As one of the most important characters in the novel and a personal favorite of mine I decided to paint her as the first concept art for the graphic novel of the project which I’m intending to start soon.
For this piece I decided to give her a more grounded look, with her face implemented from a close friend of mine. The overall grungy look as well with her hair unkept, based on her appearance during the attack of the Portuguese forces in Male’.
