3P’s skill development session held on 27th Jan @ Beth Rapha home for boys and girls, DCPUD Unit. Topic – Importance of education Overview – The importance of education was also discussed with the children. Education is a power and key to success if one possesses it. It was also mentioned to them that each student must prioritize the goal where they are investing at least 17 years into education: to complete their A levels, complete their 2 years of A levels, and 4 years of degree, which depends on the course they take up.

3P’s skill development session was held on 25th Jan at Sneha Open Shelter Home for Girls, a DCPUD. Topic: Computer Basic (MS Works/PowerPoint) – Overview – In today’s session, the assignments and notes of the students were checked, and none of them had been completed per the expectation, the feedback/corrections were provided. Assignment – On 27th Jan at 12:45 pm there will be a practical exam for students to demo.Read and learn from the textbook provided. Keep practicing the concept they learned by spending at least 30 minutes a day.

The below thumb rules for creating a PPT and presenting were also discussed -

1. One(1) to two (2) pictures/images max. per slide.
2. Per PPT 3 to 5 slides.
3. Have agenda.
4. Presentation not to exceed more than 20-30min.
5. Mention at the start that Q&A will be taken up at the end so that the audience understands not to interrupt the presentation.
