During this session, she covered the below – 1. Importance of education and how it will help them in their holistic growth. He also emphasised that every child must complete their degree so that they have a good career. He mentioned that if we spend 16-17 years of education doing it seriously and by not taking the easy part, the remaining 30-40 years of our life will bear fruit that we will enjoy with ease. 2. Good health – Our lives are very much dependent on our health; if we have good health, we will be able to study/work better and also enjoy and be happy in our lives. He also taught a few physical exercises and meditation that the students need to do on a day-to-day basis to develop concentration skills. Note – During the session, MCKS Food for the Hungry Foundation donated 132 geometry boxes to 132 students worth 14,520 INR and 96 notebooks.

Constructive feedback was provided individually, highlighting areas of improvement (AOI) such as formatting, content relevance, language clarity, and alignment with industry standards. Students were guided on how to make the necessary corrections and were instructed to revise and resubmit their resumes for further review. The session aimed to help students develop professional, well-structured resumes that effectively reflect their skills, education, and experience. Assignment -

The three foundational pillars that shape an individual’s life or holistic growth are Health, Education, and Career. 2. These pillars are essential for holistic growth and development, and they play a crucial role in every stage of life. 3. The children were encouraged to reflect on how each pillar contributes to their overall well-being and future success: Health provides the physical and mental strength needed to pursue goalsEducation provides knowledge and awarness.Career offers direction/ purpose and financial stability. 4.It was emphasised that while each pillar is important on its own, true success and fulfilment come from maintaining a balance among all three. Prioritising one at the cost of the others can lead to an unsteady foundation. By nurturing all three, individuals can lead a more meaningful and well-rounded life. We focused on the three key aspects of any project: Task – What needs to be done and process?Time – How much time is available?Expectation – What is the desired result?Issues/concerns – The AIMS section does not allow pictures to be uploaded.Aishath’s and Razia’s past AIMS posts are still pending approval.No interns are completing their assignments that are provided to update their understanding in line with the topic discussed during these sessions.Plan/Next Steps – 1. The winners under different categories that were announced on 7th August during the Internship awards are requested to keep the following 2 documents ready by 4th September. On September 1st week a link will be shared where they will need to upload these documents along with their bank details – Current academic enrollment proof OR, if you have completed more than 15 years of education, please provide your professional details.One letter of recommendation from a teacher with their signature.Note – Once the request has been made to upload the documents/details on a specific link, which will be communicated to you in September 2025. You will be given three reminders. If the requested information is not provided after the third reminder, the award will be forfeited. 2. The students will be evaluated per session from today's session based on their participation during the session, for which 5 marks have been allocated per week. 3. The interns who want to present their project on a monthly bases , to let Gerard know during this meeting (week prior) so that the session can be set up, and the scores will be included in the evaluation for this project. 4. Project update – Interns to update the AIMS section of their CLICS by Monday with the numbers and facts backed with pictures/video links in the format being shared. Bommai, Hubli. During the session, Ms. Yasmeen actively engaged the students in learning Spoken English through an interactive, activity-based approach. She encouraged the children to introduce themselves confidently in English, helping them develop their communication skills. The session also focused on essential grammar topics, particularly tenses—with an emphasis on the Simple Present and Present Continuous tenses

Two methods for learning English were also discussed during the session: Using a bilingual dictionary – Translating words from the language the children already know into English to build vocabulary and understanding.Using Google Translate – Leveraging the app or website to translate phrases or sentences, aiding comprehension and practical usage.Assignment - Students are to learn to form a new sentence and write in English. Every 1 new sentence over the 1st week and 2nd week, 2 new sentences every day, this needs to be followed up for 9 weeks.
