STEAM Session: Management & Skill Development
Topic: Project Management Function and Tools
Project: Has a Task(series of tasks) Time and Expectations and needs 3M to complete a project or a project goal that is Men, Money, Material. A project needs analysis of the Golden circle: WHY = Purpose I HOW = Process I WHAT = Result / Outcome
Example: Teacher has given a project or assignment to draw the parts of a plant– The Task is to draw the parts of the plant, then the teacher says you need to complete it in 3 days this is the Time and the teacher ask you to represent the diagram in the school workbook with explanation this an Expectation.
Project Management has 5 functions POSDC :
P: Planning O: Organizing S: Staffing D: Directing C: Controlling
Planning :
Start with WHY HOW WHAT in line with the Task(project)Time and Expectations.
Next Sessions :
O: Organizing S: Staffing D: Directing C: Controlling and if time permits – What a project Manager does.
Session: Space, time, causation and Fibonacci series We have talked about space, time , vibration and the pattern everything is formed .. fibonacci what is the starting point ? space every action has a equal and opposite reaction : if you d something good, then something good will happen, if you do something bad then something bad will happen, if you breath in then you have to breath out .. everything starts in the space, time is the size of the hole in which seed is planted, then a action reaction of equal and opposite direction start .. then things are formed per fibonacci pattern The patters of the universe, stars, flowers, fingerprints, pineapple .. The video explains the different patterns: This video is a cool mathematical representation on the formation Do yo remember the story what the universe did when the darkness complained that the sun was bothering her by coming where ever it goes … what did the universe do to make the sun and darkeness meet? The universe created objects , planets and beings like us. We are where the opposites meet : dark and light, accelrator and braking … So who is the seed? We are… Read more »
Session: Solar system, Milky way, Space and vibration Do stars also move? Why do stars twinkle? Why sometimes stars seem like they don’t twinkle? Following are some ideas that we discussed: What is the closest star to us? Sun We are on earth which is rotating every 24 hrs and going around the sun in 365 days. The sun along with the planets is called solar system This solar system and similar many other systems are a part of milky way galaxy The solar system (sun and planets and others) together go around the center of milky way taking 250 million years The milky way is the big whole in the space from which all the solar systems came Just like when you want to plant a seed, first is we make space .. then we make a hole How do we make a hole? by moving the sickle(tool) up and down (like a vibration) The milky way which is a hole in space is formed because of a vibration (breathing) .. in and out we are breathing, plants are breathing, planet is breathing so is sun and the milky way So stars are moving. the reason they glitter is… Read more »
Session: SPACE, nebula and whole
Home work:
Look into the night sky.
imagine how those stars, planets, moon, clouds might have
-started
-what they are doing
-where are they going.
Steam session: SPACE and Universe and vibration

I’m Nethmi. I’m in grade 12. This is my understanding about the last three weeks lessons. This is the summary under the topic of how to activate a robot. To activate a robot, we should give two commands. They are, learn Do We can give information to a robot by a remote and by our voice. If we press the learn button and do the activity that we should do by the robot in front of it, it will record the activity to it’s memory. Then we press the do button, the robot do the activity that we had done in front of it. This is the way that we can activate a robot. This is the summary under the topic of Time Management. Time management is dividing the 24 hours to each task that we should do at a day. For this the easy way is make a time table and work according to it. If we do the all task according to a time table we can manage our time very well. We can use four priorities to divide our tasks. They are, Urgent and Important. Urgent but not Important. Important but not Urgent. Not Important and not… Read more »
Topic: Concept of the Golden Circle: WHY = Purpose I HOW = Process I WHAT = Result / Outcome and SWOT Analysis or Matrix WHAT is result or Outcome from the WHY and HOW. WHAT Questions to be asked oneself when we see a result or outcome : What are the lessons I have learned? What can be done better from the learning of the result that I can apply in future? Is the result of WHAT I got inline to the WHY (task) and HOW (time and resources invested) ? What are my SWOT (Strengths Weakness Opportunities Threats ) from each lesson learnt. SWOT Analysis Explanation : S: STRENGTH I W : WEAKNESS I O : Opportunities I T : Threats The SWOT Analysis will help you understand yourself before you take up a decision like going into a college or choosing a career. STRENGTHS (Internal or what I posses) What am I really good at? What are the skills I have that will help me accomplish what I want to? What are the resources I have? What do others see in me? WEAKNESS (Internal that I have to improve) What should I improve on? What are the… Read more »
