Topic – Guitar lessons.
Overview –
Today’s session was conduct by Akhil Kalal a B pharmacy student, music teacher and an iINVENT intern. From today’s session the students learned the basics of guitar, different parts of a guitar, 6 strings and what does each string stand for and about the 7 vocals.

He aslo mentioned that one should develop a skill so that it would help them to stay focused and always be in a postive frame of mind.

Assignment –

• Students to practise 1 one song they like so that in the next class, they can start practising with the guitar.
• Complete the notes from today’s class.

Topic –Good Touch Bad Touch

Overview –
This session was conducted by Dr Deepti Joshi , MS, FIPO , Pediatric Ophthalmologist at 

 , Co Chair for Masoom: Young Indians, Hubli – Dharwad (an anti child sexual abuse vertical).
During this session Dr Deepti Joshi the doctor created awarness of a good toch and bad touch, how they needs to prevent themselves and othersfrom harmful people. She also mention that the children should focus on their studies and career which is the top priority for them.

In today’s session Annapoorna Limbikai shared her life story and journey with the children, she told the them that we should focus on education,develop new skills that will help us to learn and grow and stand .She shared that although being an orphan in of the DCPUD institutes she managed to grow a successful carrer and become independent by developing the skills she had which is drwaing and painting, she also said that we need to always have a goal in our life and start to work on it, live in the present and learn and grow and the key is to study well, develop our skills / talents we have and to take all the opportunities we get in life, she also shared that when she was a child she showed one of her paintings to a judge who came to their institute and looking at her painting he sponsered her education… Read more »

Topic – Importance of health.

Overview –

In todays session the imopartnce of good health was discussed with the children, as having good health will help one to learn and perform better in our studies and to develop skills ad well has help us reach our goal. The 3 key factors that will help us lead a healthy life style is –
#1. Practising good habits.
#2. Developing new skills.
#3. Leading a balance life style.

Assignment –

• Students to write an essay for 30 lines on their learning from today’s session.
• Student in the next session to present their project updates in line with accomplishment, challenges and any lessons learnt pertaining to the 3 P’s, plus how one or more of the 3P’s skills have helped them.
