Topic – Guitar lessons : Major Chords

Overview –
Today’s session was conducted by Akhil Kalal a B pharmacy student, music teacher and an iINVENT intern. 

In today’s session Akhil explained and showed the students how to play the major chords on the guitar.He told them that learning the major chords they can play many songs. He showed them hwo to play A MAJOR , D MAJOR and E MAJOR chords.

Assignement –

The students to practise the Major chords shown, will review tomorrow.All students to learn all the 4 songs that was taught to them.

Topic – Substance Abuse/Tobacoo awarness.

Overview –
This topic was curated and conducted by Dr. Umesh Hallikeri, MBBS MD. Consultant Oncopathologist at The Karnataka Cancer Therapy and Research Institute ,Navanagar,
Hubballi and Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Dharwad.

During this session Dr. Umesh Hallikeri explained to the children how drugs/tobacoo consumption can harm our physical and mental health, he also shared the harmful ingridients used to make drugs/tobacoo. The doctor also shared that one should not be influded by influencial people promoting drugs/tobacoo and not got enage with people who are consume it.

Dr. Umesh Hallikeri told the children in order to stay aways from drugs/tobacoo we need to practise good habits, learn new skills,have a goal to focus in life and more over focus on their studies and career.

Topic – Introduction to 3P’s skills and developing the skill of listening and obervation.

Overview –
In todays session it was discussed with the students on how the 3P’s skill( Personal skills, People skills and Project skills) will help them in 3 priorities as students that is health,education and goal for their holistic growth.

Plus they also learnt the importance of developing the skills of listening and observing with concentration and how it would help them to become quick learns and learn any subjects,launguages, skills and complete their project/work more effectively and efficiently.

Topic – Importance of learning to communicate in English.

Overview –
This session was condcuted by Immanuel Pathare Founder & CEO of SafeDrop 
Co-Founder & MD of S M Academy Founder & Incharge of The Strikers.

During the session Mr.Immanuel explained to the students that English is universally expected and profession language and it becomes very important for one to learn to communicate in English, he also explaned how one can learn and communicate effectively.
