Topic: The 3 steps to solve problems –

Overview – In today’s session the importance and usage of computers were discussed, plus a basic introduction was given to them in terms of the inventor, part of a computer and input and output devices and their uses, plus what are some of the basic security and integrity norms one needs to follow while using the computer/internet.

Assignments –

Students to complete the notes from today’s session and learn from them.Work with the superintendent to see how a computer works and the parts of a computer.

Topic – Guitar Lesson – Basics.

Overview –
Today’s session was conducted by Akhil Kalal a B pharmacy student, music teacher and an iINVENT intern.
During the session the students we revised with the children–

• Parts of the guitar.
• How each string is.
• The vocals can be played on the guitar.
• How to hold the guitar.

Some students also were given a chance to play on the guitar.

Assignment –

• Students are to select by this week 5 Kannada songs that they would like to learn on the guitar.
• Practice the learning from today’s call on the guitar they made from waste materials.

Topic: A pathway to success.

Overview:

This session was conducted by Smt. Nivedita Srinath is a soft skills trainer and founder of WOW Institute of Language Learning.

During this session Smt. Nivedita Srinath told the children that practicing good habits and being humble and respectful to others is the key to success, these aspects come under the 3P’s skills the children are earning and also explained how this comes under personal and people skills.

In today’s session, it was discussed with the students how the 3P’s skill( Personal skills, People skills, and Project skills) will help them in 3 priorities as students that is health, education, and goals for their holistic growth.
Plus they also learned the importance of developing the skills of listening and observing with concentration and how it would help them to become quick learns and learn any subjects, languages, and skills, and complete their project/work more effectively and efficiently.
