Topic – Importance of resume.

Overview –

In today’s session the importance of creating a resume, the key points to be included in a resume, and what one needs to keep in mind while writing and before sending a resume was discussed with the children.

Some of the key points covered –

• A resume will help one to apply for a job, internship, scholarships, and universities.
• A resume should be written honestly with relevant facts and figures.
• One should proofread the resume they create to avoid mistakes.

Assignment –

• By tomorrow the students should complete the resume based on today’s discussion.

Topic – Discipline.

Overview –
In today’s session, the importance of practicing the skill of discipline was discussed in line with how practicing this skill in the 3 key priorities in one’s life which are health, learning, and goals would help us in our holistic growth and how with the help of this skill we can become successful in our endeavors, become good citizens and human beings.

Assignments –

• In the next session, each student to come up with one question regarding this topic.
• All students are to complete their notes.

Topic – 3 steps to find a solution to a problem

Overview –

In today’s session, the 3 steps to find a solution to a problem be it in their personal life, education, or any other problem were discussed the #3 steps are as follows –

Root cause analysis – Finding out from where the problem began and what caused the problem.Action plan – Looking at various options that the problem can be solved, try to seek help from others.Documentation – Document the root cause and fix/solution so that it can be applied when a similar issue may have to arise + continue improvement.
Assignment –

Students are to complete the notes.Next session students are to come and share in a minute their project/learning in line with accomplishments, challenges, lessons learned, and next steps.Students were reminded to apply to the iINVENT Paid internship and join the internship meeting/session online at 8 pm.
