Topic – Importance of following rules and regulations.

Overview –
In today’s session, the importance of following rules laid by the government, the education institutions, and at work was discussed with the students as to how following these rules and regulations can ensure the safety of ourselves, others (community), and the environment.

It was also discussed with them that following rules and regulations is the first step toward us becoming good humans and citizens of a nation as any rule/regulation implemented by the Government is to ensure our safety and the safety of others/community as a whole and the safety of the environment so it becomes our duty to abide with the rules and regulation where we are being monitored or not.

Topic – The 5 skills to practice to be successful.

Overview-

In today’s session, the children leaned the #5 skills that they need to practice and follow in their day to day to be successful in their pursuits.

The 5# skills are –

1. Give your best – Learn from every result and everyone.
2. Listening and observation – practice.
3. Balance – personal + family/friends work/school.
4. Patience and Perseverance. 
5. Ask questions.

In today’s session, the students were introduced to the basic guidelines and uses of computers. The topics that were covered were –

Topic – Leadership and teamwork

Overview –
This session was conducted by Immanuel Pathare Founder and CEO of SafeDrop
In today’s session, the students learned of to develop leadership skills and how they contribute to teamwork in terms of team building, directing, and coordinating with team members to achieve a common goal.

The children were engaged in activities to illustrate this topic.

Topic –Good Touch Bad Touch.

Overview –
This session was conducted by Dr Deepti Joshi, MS, FIPO, a Pediatric Ophthalmologist at M M Joshi Eye Hospital and co-chair for Masoom: Young Indians, Hubli—Dharwad (an anti-child sexual abuse vertical).

During this session, Dr. Deepti Joshi the doctor created awareness of good and bad touch. She explained in detail what is a good and bad touch, what they need to do to avoid such situations, and how they need to seek help for themselves and others.
