Topic – Time Management

Overview –
This session was conducted in collaboration with MABP, and Keerthana M. is a second-semester student at the Wadiyars Centre for Architecture in Mysore and an active member of Girl Up EmpowerHer. 

During this session, she explained to the students the importance of time management and how respecting time would help them in their education, career and day-to-day life she focued on the following 3 points to summarize –

1. Respect time.
2. Have a timetable.
3. Complete the work that is assigned to you within the time, do keep postponing.

Topic – Design

Overview –

In today’s session, it was discussed with the children that they need to be design-centric in their approach, while working on a project, the 1st step they need to focus on is the design phase.

The 3 questions they need to focus on in the design phase are –
1. WHY – The purpose
2. HOW – Standardized measurement, size, and shape that are acceptable worldwide.
3. WHAT – The men, money, and material they require to complete the project.

Assignment –

Students are to complete their notes and present their learning in the next session.

Topic – Kathak Dance lessons

The Kathak Dance gues that was taught today are as follows :

 1.Namaskara (Salutation):
 Namaskara is a respectful salutation performed at the beginning of a dance session. It is both a prayer and a gesture to seek blessings and bowing down as a mark of respect. 
2. Hastakas (Hand Gestures in Mudras) Hastakas refer to specific hand movements.
 

Assignments-
1. The students to complete the notes and practice the dance positions taught today.

Topic – Introduction to 3P skill + Importance of developing listening and observation skills.

Overview –

In today’s session, it was discussed with children that they need to prioritize and balance between the 3priorities of their life which will help in their holistic growth which are health, learning,g, and education to enable this the 3P skill program has been launched which are follows –

Personal skills.People skills.Project skills – Time management I Task Management I Expectations Management.It was also discussed with them that they need to develop the skill of listening and observing with concentration which will enable to become quick learners and complete any work/assignment effectively and efficiently.

Assignments –

Students are to complete their notes.In the next session, they would need to present their learning from today’s session.
