Topic – Career Awarness

Overview –
This session was conducted in collaboration with MABP, and Keerthana M. is a second-semester student at the Wadiyars Centre for Architecture in Mysore and an active member of Girl Up EmpowerHer. 

During this session, she explained the following topics to the children in line with the carrier awareness and opportunities –

1. Have a career goal.
2. Learn skills to help you reach your career like communicating in English and computer skills.
3. Complete education till degree.
4. The courses to apply for different career opportunities.

Overview –

1. Travel – Fun + explore + relax.
2. Develop the skill of listening and observation.

5. Metime – 30 min a day to reflect on what is best for you, what works and what does not and pray, this will make you stronger.

Overview – During this session, the students learned how they can effectively and efficiently manage maintenance activities. The following 3 questions they need to keep in mind – WHY – Need to communicate to the maintenance team about the purpose/story of what they would be maintaining, so that they get connected to it and feel a sense of belonging, so that they will take on their responsibilities well. HOW – Need to communicate maintenance team – The start and completion times of the maintenance window/schedule. Who do they need to report to about the progress or issues.WHAT – Need to communicate with the maintenance team as to what tasks they need to do as part of the maintenance.
