Topic: Interview Preparation and Key Points (Part# 3) –

“During this session, the importance of body language in interviews was discussed, with particular focus on mannerisms, posture, eye contact, and gestures. Students were also reminded of the importance of thorough preparation before attending an interview and encouraged to give their best effort without worrying about the outcome. Additionally, the development of good listening skills was highlighted as a valuable asset for succeeding in interviews.”

Assignments –

1. Students are required to complete their notes. The slides for each session have been shared in the respective groups.
2. Pending Assignment – Common Interview Questions:
3. Students must complete the pending task of researching answers to frequently asked interview questions using appropriate technology tools or platforms.
4. Interview Rounds – Students should provide a brief explanation of the five types of interview rounds discussed during the session.

Topic – Importance of health and education –

Overview –
This session was conducted by Mr.Vinayak from MCKS Food for the Hungry Foundation.
During this session, she covered the below –
1. Importance of education and how it will help them in their holistic growth. He also emphasised that every child must complete their degree so that they have a good career. He mentioned that if we spend 16-17 years of education doing it seriously and by not taking the easy part, the remaining 30-40 years of our life will bear fruit that we will enjoy with ease.
2. Good health – Our lives are very much dependent on our health; if we have good health, we will be able to study/work better and also enjoy and be happy in our lives. He also taught a few physical exercises and meditation that the students need to do on a day-to-day basis to develop concentration skills.

Note – During the session, MCKS Food for the Hungry Foundation donated 145 geometry boxes worth 15,950 INR to the students from this school.

Topic: Effective Learning Methods –
Overview:
In today’s session, five effective methods were discussed to enhance learning efficiency and retention. These methods aim to help learners grasp concepts thoroughly and remember them long-term. The key points covered include:
1. Discipline – Emphasising the importance of time management and staying organised to create a structured learning environment.
2 . Concentration – Encouraging active listening and focused observation to absorb information more effectively.
3. Making Notes – Highlighting the value of summarising key aspects and creating concise notes to reinforce understanding.
4. Asking Questions – Promoting curiosity and clarity by encouraging learners to ask questions and resolve any doubts they may have.
5 . Practice – Stressing the need for consistent practice, not just to understand concepts but also to remember and apply them confidently.

Topic: Interview Preparation and Key Points (Part# 2)

During today’s session, we revisited the key points on how to prepare for an interview, which were covered in yesterday’s call.
In addition, we discussed the key actions to follow during an interview, starting from arriving at the venue, attending the interview, and what to do after the interview. We also covered the importance of appropriate attire and how dressing professionally can positively impact the first impression.

Assignment – To be presented tomorrow –

#1.Understanding Interview Rounds:

• Each student is required to write a summary of their understanding of the different types of rounds typically conducted in an interview process ( Personal interview, Aptitude test, Technical round, Group Discussion, Debate.

Aptitude Question Paper:

• Prepare and present one aptitude question paper suitable for a fresher-level interview. The paper should include a variety of questions (quantitative, logical reasoning, verbal ability, etc.).

Job Description Search:

• Search for a job description for a fresher role (relevant to your field of study or interest).

Topic – Resume: Importance and how to create

“During this session, the children were guided on the importance of having a resume, how to create one, the details that need to be included, and key points to keep in mind before and after writing a resume. It was also emphasised that a resume is the first step towards applying for a job, and therefore, it should be created with great accuracy and attention to detail, as it serves as the first impression for a potential employer or interviewer.”

Assignment –

Students are to create a resume based on the points discussed today and the format provided, and present it during the next session.
