If you think Safety Rules are a Pain
Try having an Accident!
#Let_Us_be_Proud_Indians_and_Follow_Traffic_Rules
As per the latest reports from the Government of India and the World Health Organization (WHO), road crashes are the number one cause of death for people in the age group of five to 29 years in India.
With road accidents being termed as a national emergency, a strong multi-sectoral approach, combined with legal reforms, long term policy vision, local innovation along with an industrial scale intervention is required to solve road safety issues.
At Dharwad our District administration successfully conducted Road Safety Week in collaboration with Police Department, education department, health department, Dharwad Bonds, rotary, lions, orthopaedic association, nature first and various other departments and organisations.
We from #Dharwad_Bonds joined hands towards strengthening this cause and conducted various programmes throughout the week!
Here are some moments captured during the inaugural function and awareness rally conducted thereafter.
Our Dharwad Bonds admin Mr.Kiran Hiremath , NatureFirst Founder Mr. Panchayya Virupaxayya Hiremath and Shreeya Nursing College Owner and Noted Orthopaedician Dr. Satish Irkal were also the chief guests at the inaugural function.
