It was mentioned to them that they should follow the 80-20 rule while using computers for 80% of learning and work and 20% of positive entertainment. It was also mentioned to them that should not be too dependent on computers/ internet/ tech, they should learn to apply their mind first and then use tech for reference. Assignments -

Overview – Today’s session was conducted by Laina Shalam an iINVENT Intern and students from Maldives studying in 8th grade. In today's session, Laina shared about her Green Education project and the goal of this project is to grow healthy fruits and vegetables at home using chemical-free manure and also encourage the people in my island to do the same. She spoke about the varieties of fruits and vegetables she is growing at home by using the organic manure she creates. She also shared how she creates organic manure, plus the accomplishments thus far on her project and some of the challenges and the ideas she came up with the overcome them. During this session, Arhan an iINVENT Intern, and students from India studying in 8th grade and Multi-Instrumentalists shared a musical video that he created along with his father to raise funds for a musical theater “Keshavrao Bhosale Natyagruha” which is around 109 years old, and was damaged by fire Assignment–

Overview – This topic was curated and conducted by Dr. Umesh Hallikeri, MBBS MD. Consultant Oncopathologist at The Karnataka Cancer Therapy and Research Institute, Navanagar, Hubballi and Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Dharwad. During this session Dr. Umesh Hallikeri explained to the children how drug/tobacco consumption can harm our physical and mental health, he also shared the harmful ingredients used to make drugs/tobacco. The doctor also shared that one should not be included by influential people promoting drugs/tobacco and not engage with people who consume it. Dr. Umesh Hallikeri told the children to stay away from drugs/tobacco or any bad habits they need to practice good habits, learn new skills, have a goal and keep working on it, and more over-focus on their studies and careers.

Overview – Today’s session was conducted by Arhan an iINVENT Intern and students from India studying in 8th grade and Multi-Instrumentalists ( play around 15 musical instruments), Music Arranger & Sound Recordist. Arhan is working on a project where he is working towards raising funds for a musical theater “Keshavrao Bhosale Natyagruha” which is around 109 years old and was damaged by fire. He also mentioned that he has been emotionally connected to this theater since he started his musical journey career and his very first performance at this theater. To rebuild this theater using his expertise in music he along with his father came up with an idea to compose a song to appeal to people to donate and support the cause. He plans to release the video song before 30th Sept, the audio is ready. They are also planning to perform in prime local streets to appeal to people to donate to this cause. Assignment–

Overview – This session was conducted by Dr Deepti Joshi, MS, FIPO, Pediatric Ophthalmologist at M M Joshi Eye Hospital, Co-Chair for Masoom: Young Indians, Hubli – Dharwad (an anti-child sexual abuse vertical). During this session, Dr. Deepti Joshi the doctor created awareness of good touch and bad touch. She explained in detail what is a good touch and what is a bad touch, what they need to do to avoid bad touch, and how they need to seek help for themselves and others.
