Overview – Today’s session was conducted by Arhan an iINVENT Intern and students from India studying in 8th grade and Multi-Instrumentalists ( play around 15 musical instruments), Music Arranger & Sound Recordist. Arhan is working on a project where he is working towards raising funds for a musical theater “Keshavrao Bhosale Natyagruha” which is around 109 years old and was damaged by fire. He also mentioned that he has been emotionally connected to this theater since he started his musical journey career and his very first performance at this theater. To rebuild this theater using his expertise in music he along with his father came up with an idea to compose a song to appeal to people to donate and support the cause. He plans to release the video song before 30th Sept, the audio is ready. They are also planning to perform in prime local streets to appeal to people to donate to this cause. Overview – In today’s session they learned the 3 steps to solve problems/challenges they may face in their life be it in their personal, student, or professional life. The #3 steps to find a solution to a problem are as follows – Root cause analysis – Finding out from where they began and what caused the problem.Work on the solutions – Looking at various options that the problem can be solved, try to seek help from others.Documentation – Document how root cause and fix/solution so that it can be applied when a similar issue may have to arise. #5.Plan/Next Steps – The interns are requested to update the CLICS with their project updates before the meeting.The criteria to win and qualify for the internship program were discussed. Overview – Today’s session was conducted by Akhil Kalal a B pharmacy student, music teacher, and an iINVENT intern. In today’s session the students learned and practiced once again playing a patriotic song “Sara Jaha Se Acha” using A major chords and also learned the sing the song “Sara Jaha Se Acha”. During this session the students also learned that when they face any challenges in their personal, student, and professional lives at first they should take some time at least a day to realize the root cause of the issues and try to come up with positive ways to fix it and if they cannot do it they need to take helps from others they feel suitable. It also suggested to them they need to come up with permanent vs temporary fixes to the challenges/issues and make notes of the fixes that they may apply if similar issues were to occur. Assignment –

1. By this week all the students should learn to play the patriotic song “Sara Jaha Se Acha” using major chords and present it in the next session.
2. The children are to come up with 5 Kannada songs that can be played using the major chords so that they can practice them.

Intern Project updates – INDIA CLICS Arhan - He spoke on how his project where towards raising funds for a 115-year-old theater has was damaged due to fire. He worked with his father to compose a Marathi song using 15 instruments. Maldives Laina - She worked on her gardening and organic manure project, and she was able to grow 2 vegetables and fruit. Aishath - Beach cleaning project - she was not able to do the field work due to her exams, but her father, sister, and brother along with another elder from the community worked on this project and collected around a thousand bottles. #4. 3P's skill session : Topic: 5 C's for Effective Communication. Overview: In today's session the 5 C's to be focused while communicating be it in written and verbal was discussed and how practicing/focusing on the 5 C's will enable them to be effective/efficient communicators. 5 C's for Effective Communication - CLARITY – Clarity in teaching is the key.CONCISENESS – Be to the point/subject.Concrete – Supported by facts/figures.COMPLETENESS – Start and end point + call to action.COURTESY – Respectful and Honest. #5.Plan/Next Steps – The interns are requested to update the CLICS with their project updates before the meeting.The criteria to win and qualify for the internship program were discussed.
