Topic - Importance of education - Overview - In today's session, the importance of education was discussed with the children. Education is a power and key to key to success if one possesses it. Through education, one gets the wisdom and knowledge to understand how things work around them, create awareness and one can be independent. To possess the power of education one must account for the following goal to invest at least 16 years into education which is to complete their 10th grade, complete their PUC, and 3-4 years of degree which depends on the course they take up.

Overview -  In today's session, the three priorities ( The 3 priorities are health, learning and goal) in one life that would enable them to become the best of their pursuits were discussed, and the key was to bring about a balance between them where they are interconnected. The SWOT analysis was briefly introduced to the students as they had an office visit that came up last moment, the session will be continued during their next session. The SWOT analysis will enable one to identify their internal strength and weaknesses (AOI) and understand the opportunities they see based on their strengths and what could be the possible threats if they do not work on their weakness.

Overview – This topic was curated and conducted by Dr. Umesh Hallikeri, MBBS MD. Consultant Oncopathologist at The Karnataka Cancer Therapy and Research Institute, Navanagar, Hubballi and Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Dharwad. During this session Dr. Umesh Hallikeri explained to the children how drug/tobacco consumption can harm our physical and mental health, he also shared the harmful ingredients used to make drugs/tobacco. The doctor also shared that one should not be included by influential people promoting drugs/tobacco and not engage with people who consume it. Dr. Umesh Hallikeri told the children to stay away from drugs/tobacco or any bad habits they need to practice good habits, learn new skills, have a goal and keep working on it, and over-focus on their studies and careers.

• The interns are advised not to keep changing projects, plus maintain continuity in their project updates.
• Interns invite the team they are working with or people they are teaching to the weekly meeting so that they share their updates/learning. This is the evaluation added for this quarter.
• Interns Project AIMS Brainstorm – Nishadhi is not ready and hence she will be presenting this Friday 20th Dec. She will send the ppt by 14th Dec and will have a dry run on 18th Dec at 8 pm for review.

They also learned 3 skills that they needed to put into action to become the best in whatever they were doing -

• Ask question.
• Practice with patience and perseverance.
