Mihina presented her project "Organic pesticide for plants" which she started with 3 other team members. Accomplishments – The pests and insects spoiling the plants have reduced. Plants are growing well. It helps to reduce the number of mosquitoes at home. Plan/Next Steps – Create a larger quantity of organic pesticides. Research more about how to make it more effective .Trying to grow garlic at home. Teach other people to create organic pesticides.The next session on 13th Dec will be presented by Nishadhi, she will send her ppt for review by coming Monday 9th Dec.

In today’s session, the students once again practiced the 3 dance moves in Kathak that is Namaskara (Salutation) which is about body movements, bowing down as a mark of respect which symbolizes humility and gratitude, Hastakas (Hand Gestures in Mudras) and Mudras which are used to convey emotions, stories, and ideas. Hastakas refer to specific hand movements. They practiced these 3 moves on the songs Makana and Namaami; Assignment – Students are to complete the notes from today’s session.Practice the lesson from today’s classes.

Overview – This session on Oral health and hygiene was conducted by Dr. Preetha J Shetty, BDS, MDSI Professor, Department of Public Health Dentistry, SDM College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Sattur, Dharwad. Dr. Preetha J Shetty shared details and practices of taking care of our dental health, plus how having good dental health will help us to speak clearly and maintain a good face structure, how to brush rightly, and the right food we need to consume. She also told the students to stay away from consumption of tobacco to avoid mouth cancer-like diseases.

Overview – This session was conducted by Dr Deepti Joshi, MS, FIPO, a Pediatric Ophthalmologist at M M Joshi Eye Hospital and co-chair for Masoom: Young Indians, Hubli—Dharwad (an anti-child sexual abuse vertical). During this session, Dr. Deepti Joshi the doctor created awareness of good and bad touch. She explained in detail what is a good and bad touch, what they need to do to avoid such situations, and how they need to seek help for themselves and others.

Overview : In today's session importance of a resume was discussed in terms of how it would help one to apply for college, and apply for internships and jobs. Plan/Next Steps – The interns are to create a resume as discussed today and email it to gmanik@nabros.com on or before 8th Dec.Interns have to update the details of their projects AIMS with details on stats and outcomes along with pictures before the meeting, plus include the plan for the coming week.The interns are advised not to keep changing projects, plus maintain continuity in their project work.Interns invite the team they are working with or people they are teaching to the weekly meeting so that they share their updates/learning.
