In addition, she is professionally taking care of Children’s eyes, and she is passionately involved in various activities about safeguarding children against child sexual abuse. She was a pioneer in conducting an activity to educate 2300 teachers at a single time in a single place in the year 2020, which was enrolled in the Limca Book of World Records.  During this session, she explained to the children/inmates the following points – Understanding Good Touch and Bad Touch, and its causes.Measures to protect/safeguard themselves against Bad Touch/sexual abuse.How can Bad Touch/sexual abuse occur over social media platforms/digitally, and what can they do to protect themselves.

1. Have a taught process of permanently fixing the problem.
2. Root cause analysis – understanding where the problem has started and the cause.
3. Action plan – start working towards a solution that will fix the problem permanently, and seek help from people who can assist.
4. Choose the solution that will fix the problem permanently.
5. Documentation for future references – Write down the Root cause of the problem and the solution applied that has fixed to problem permanently

Date: 8th July 2025 #1.Attendance #19 (new interns#2) #2. 3p skill session – Topic: Mantras to lead a healthy lifestyle Overview – During the session today, the key aspects to lead a healthy lifestyle were discussed with the children as mentioned below - Developing good habits and having good friends or people with us to share will enable good health. 1. Following a balanced lifestyle, meaning having a balance between our personal and professional is a key to good physical and mental health. 2. To practice a balanced. Lifestyle, we need to create a timetable based on the 24 hours we have in a day – Include 8 hours sleep + 8 hours for work + 8 hours for our family/friends/what we like doing. 3.Having a good and peaceful sleep for 8 hours will help our brain relax will enabling good relaxation for our body enabling good health. #3. Plan/Next Steps – 1. Annual intern awards and brainstorming are scheduled on 24th July, 8 pm IST. The artists confirmed – India – Kavya (song), I Srilanka – Sulakshana, I Maldives – Aishath (poem) – they will send the details by tomorrow, 9th July. The request from the children from India is to move the session to 1st week of August, as they have their FA1 exams during the last week of July. 2. The interns by 2nd July local time have to update on the CLICS on their accomplishments on their project for this quarter with facts, figures and images, as this will be considered for the annual awards for the last academic year 2024 – 2025. 4. Project update – interns to update the AIMS section of their CLICS every Monday with numbers and facts backed with pictures in the format shared. 5. Currently, many interns have completed the assignments. Most of the interns from Srilanka are not engaging during the session.

She explained to the children the concept of time management and how it would help them in their personal, academic, and career pursuits. She also explained to them practices that would help them manage their time.

Overview – This session on Oral health and hygiene was conducted by Dr. Preetha J Shetty, BDS, MDSI, Professor, Department of Public Health Dentistry, SDM College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Sattur, Dharwad. Dr. Preetha J Shetty shared details and practices of taking care of our dental health, plus how having good dental health will help us to speak clearly and maintain a good face structure, how to brush correctly, and the right food we need to consume. She also told the students to stay away from the consumption of tobacco to avoid mouth cancer-like diseases. During this session, SDM donated 15 pencil kits with toothpaste and ba rush, including 2 mats worth 800INR
