3P’s skill development session held on 10th August @ Children Home for girls, a DCPUD Unit. - PFA Topic: Education – Importance and Perseverance Session Overview: In today’s session, we had an engaging discussion with the children about the importance of education and the role perseverance plays in achieving long-term success. Students were reminded that while some subjects or courses might appear challenging or require extra effort, it is essential not to take shortcuts or choose the easier path out of convenience or laziness. These short-term decisions can have long-lasting impacts on their academic and career goals. It was emphasised that success comes from consistent hard work and commitment to their educational journey. Taking the "easy way out" might seem tempting, but it will divert them from the direction of their dreams and aspirations. And we receive as free from our parents, family and government to support our health, education and career needs/pursuits should be considered as an opportunity we get in life and make the best use of it, versus wasting or misusing them. Students were also encouraged to aim for the completion of 15–16 years of education, ideally achieving at least a degree-level qualification, as this serves as a strong foundation for future opportunities and personal growth.
