Topic – Good Idea

Overview –
During today’s session, the children were guided to understand what makes a good idea. A good idea is one that helps us as individuals, the community, and the environment grow. Such ideas are bound to lead to success. An idea is said to be successful when we consider ourselves one with the community and nature, and grow together.

The 3 Steps to start working and bring one’s idea to life –

  • Catch an Idea – Write down the ideas that come to you. Make notes so they don’t get lost.
  • Plant the Idea – Start discussing and sharing your ideas with like-minded people. This helps the idea take shape.
  • Grow the Idea – Begin working on your idea consistently and turn it into action.

Topic – Importance of exams and well-being

Overview –
This session was conducted by Smt. Jayashree from MCKS Food for the Hungry Foundation.
During the session today, it was mentioned to the students that examinations help students understand their learning, identify areas for improvement, and build confidence. They teach discipline, responsibility, and good study habits, while also preparing students for future studies and life challenges. Exams are not meant to create fear, but to support gradual learning and personal growth.
The session also highlighted the importance of good physical and mental health, as it helps students study better, work efficiently, and live happily. Simple physical exercises and meditation techniques were taught, which students should practice daily to improve concentration and focus.
We thank MCKS Food for the Hungry Foundation for donating 150 notebooks to the students of this school to support their exams.
