Topic – The 3 Pillars for Holistic Growth

Overview :
In today’s session, students were introduced to the three key pillars of life: Health, Education, and Career. They discussed how each pillar plays an important role in their overall well-being and future success. Students reflected on the need to maintain a healthy balance among all three pillars and understood how concentration helps in strengthening them.

During today’s session, the children were briefed on how participating in the iINVENT ME Paid Internship Program would support their holistic growth, as the program focuses on developing a student’s 3P’s skill personal, people, and project/professional skills from an early age.

3P’s skill development session held on 17th Feb at Govt High school Pendargall – PFA
Topic – Importance of exams and well-being

Overview –
This session was conducted by Smt. Jayashree from MCKS Food for the Hungry Foundation.
During the session today, it was mentioned to the students that examinations help students understand their learning, identify areas for improvement, and build confidence. They teach discipline, responsibility, and good study habits, while also preparing students for future studies and life challenges. Exams are not meant to create fear, but to support gradual learning and personal growth.

The session also highlighted the importance of good physical and mental health, as it helps students study better, work efficiently, and live happily. Simple physical exercises and meditation techniques were taught, which students should practice daily to improve concentration and focus.
We thank MCKS Food for the Hungry Foundation for donating 150 notebooks to the students of this school to support their exams.

During today’s session, students were introduced to the goal of communication, which is to clearly express what we want to convey and to correctly understand what others are communicating to us. Communication is successful only when both the speaker and the listener understand each other properly.

The 3 C’s of Effective Communication –
1. Clarity – Clarity in thought is the key to clear communication. Students should think clearly before they speak or write. When ideas are clear in the mind, the message becomes easy for others to understand.
2.Conciseness – Be direct and to the point. Avoid unnecessary details and stick to the main subject. Clear and brief communication saves time and keeps the listener engaged.
3. CompletenessEvery communication should have:

  • A clear starting point
  • Proper explanation or main content
  • A clear ending or conclusion
  • A call to action (what should be done next)

Home work –

  1. The students to share about the qualities that they possess that they are proud of and the qualities that they believe they need to improve on.

Watch/Listen: 3P’s skill development session held on 13th Feb at Sneha Shakti Sadhan Home For Women and Child Development, DCPUD Unit, by clicking here – Topic – Balance + Open + Learn Overview – During this session, the three essential aspects that one needs to practise in daily life—especially for better health, continuous learning, and successful goal pursuit—were discussed. Balance – We need to practise the art of balance in everything we do. Balance prevents us from overdoing things and helps us manage our time, emotions, responsibilities, and habits wisely. When we maintain balance in our lifestyle—between studies, rest, relationships, and personal growth—it strengthens both our physical and mental health. Balanced living supports steady and responsible growth. Open – Keeping an open mind allows us to listen carefully, understand different perspectives, and accept new ideas. Openness helps us grow beyond our comfort zone. When we are open to feedback, guidance, and new experiences, we continuously improve ourselves. It also strengthens relationships and builds mutual respect. Learn – Learning should be a continuous process. Every day provides opportunities to learn through experiences, mistakes, achievements, and interactions. Continuous learning increases awareness, sharpens our thinking, and enables holistic growth.
