Overview:During today’s session, students were guided on the essential aspects to remember on the day of the interview. The discussion focused on actions and behaviours before, during, and after the interview to help create a confident, professional, and lasting impression.

Before the Interview:

  • Get a good night’s sleep before the interview.
  • Dress appropriately in formal or business attire.
  • Review your resume, the job description, and key talking points.
  • Plan your travel – arrive 45 minutes to 1 hour early at the interview venue.
  • Carry all necessary documents (resume, ID, certificates, etc.).
  • Mentally rehearse responses to common interview questions.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and calm mindset.

2. During the Interview:

  • Greet the interviewer.
  • Maintain good eye contact and body posture.
  • Listen carefully and answer clearly and confidently.
  • Be honest—if you don’t know something, it’s okay to admit it.

3. After the Interview:

  • Thank the interviewer for their time and opportunity.
  • Politely ask about the next steps or follow-up timeline.

Assignment –

The focus was on understanding how learning happens best – 1. Discipline forms the foundation of effective learning. It includes: Showing up on time Being punctual helps students start their day with structure and focus. Valuing and respecting time (yours and others’) Time is a valuable resource; using it wisely ensures better learning outcomes. Being organized Keeping study materials, notes, and schedules in order helps reduce stress and improve focus. 2. Concentration allows students to absorb information deeply and connect better with what they are learning. Listen and observe with full attention. Active listening in class and paying close attention helps improve understanding. Be focused – stay in the present moment: Avoid distractions and multitasking during study time.   • Explained the importance of balancing screen time:
  • 80% productive/educational use
  • 20% recreational/entertainment use

3. Introduction to Computers

  • Definition and basic understanding of what a computer is.

4.Parts of a Computer

  • Monitor, CPU, keyboard, mouse, and speakers.
  • Demonstration and identification of each part.

During this session, he covered the below – 1. Importance of education and how it will help them in their holistic growth. He also emphasised that every child must complete their degree, complete their education at least till their degree, so that they may have a stable future. He also mentioned to them that they should avoid shortcuts, laziness, or choosing the easy path, especially in education and career pursuits, as true success comes from consistent effort and commitment and what they receive for free that will support you in your health, education, and career pursuits, be it from your parents, government etc to be considered them as an opportunity and make the best use of them to grow holistically, and please do not waste them. Overview –
During today’s session, we explored the three key pillars that contribute to holistic personal growth:

  1. Health
  2. Education
  3. Career

The discussion emphasised how each of these pillars plays a vital role in shaping an individual’s overall well-being/holistic growth. Participants were encouraged to recognise the interconnectedness of these elements and the importance of giving equal attention to all three. The session also highlighted the need to maintain a balance between these pillars rather than prioritising one at the expense of the others.

Topic – Resume review and tips to prep for an interview –

During today’s session, student resumes were reviewed based on the feedback and inputs shared with them last week. Each student received individual feedback and areas of improvement (AOI) to help refine their resumes further.
Additionally, the session focused on interview preparation. Students were guided on key points and tips to prepare effectively, including:

  • Commonly asked interview questions
  • Different types of interview rounds
  • The importance and structure of a mock interview
  • Essential prep work before attending an interview

Assignment –
Resume Updates:

  1. Students are required to revise their resumes based on the individual feedback shared during today’s session.
