Topic – Golden circle concept in career planning –
Students were introduced to the Golden Circle concept and how it applies to career planning, and how it would enable them to effectively and efficiently reach their career pursuits:

• WHY – Purpose / Cause and Belief

Purpose/cause – Students were encouraged to reflect on the reasons behind their career choices. What drives them? What are they passionate about? And it was emphasised that one should choose their career based on – How it will benefit them, how it would benefit the community/people and how it would benefit others. Belief – To reach our goal, we must have self-belief that we can achieve it.

• HOW – The Process

The steps /process/short-term goals needed to achieve/reach their career goals.Emphasis on developing relevant skills and completing their education.

• WHAT – Actions / Self-Evaluation

Self-evaluation of every step/process/short-term goals needed to achieve/reach their career goals to identify areas of improvement..The self-evaluation is to be done honestly on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Topic – Continuous Learning

Overview –
During today’s session, the importance of continuous learning was discussed as a key factor for one’s holistic growth, as it leads to continuous improvement. It was emphasized that learning should not stop after formal education but should be an ongoing process throughout one’s life.

The session highlighted how staying curious, adapting to new technologies, and updating one’s knowledge and skills help individuals remain relevant and confident in a constantly changing world.
