Why:
This Center for Learning, Innovation, Creativity and Startup (CLICS) has been launched for the students, parents, businesses, leadership and the district public offices in the region to work cohesively on sustainable projects that help our students, community and environment grow.
How:
Students may start on innovative learning programs and projects, professionals/parents may start up on their ideas from home and institutions/communities may launch their own CLICS for schools or work.
What:
CLICS will provide the grants, platform, program: curriculum/skill development, projects+opportunities, technology and expertise to enable sustainable ideas that help one and all in the region to grow.
Who:
All age groups may join with. Students, individuals, teachers, parents, professionals, businesses, public/government sectors are invited to join.
When:
Timings are flexible and you may join at your own convenience.
Where:
You may join remotely with an internet connected device or on premise where available.

Submitted letters regarding the encroachments and recommendations on conservation of lakes to National Green Tribunal, Chief Minister of Karnataka, District in-charge Minister, Lokayukta, DC, Commissioner and all the other concerned departments.
We wholeheartedly thank Mr. Manjunath R. Kere for the well researched articles which were published in #Prajavani. These articles were also attached in the letters that were submitted . We have recieved positive response from the authorities who assured us that they will begin the investigation and take appropriate disciplinary action.
I would like to thank Mr. Amit S Upadhye from #TheNewIndianExpress for having published a detailed article highlighting the contents of the letter that we submitted. Pen is mightier than the sword and I believe it will have a big impact and necessary measures will be taken to protect our lakes.

Many young scientists had presented their models and amazed us with their creativity and talent. Agastya international Foundation is an NGO whose mission is to spark curiosity, nurture creativity and build confidence among economically disadvantaged children and teachers in India. It was founded in 1999. Students from 40 different schools are a part of this and #AequsPrivateLimited is doing an incredible job of supporting them in this noble endeavour. Mrs.Madhu Lodaya ma’am and Mr.Vasuki sir who had excellently led and conducted this eco model competition distributed the awards and certificates. Dr. Babitha the Director of Agastya International Foundation was also present at the event. Mr. Dhaval and Mr. Chanappa from Aequs Private Limited graced the occassion and distributed bags to the students. It’s time we took pride in it and reclaimed the lost glory to equally inspire the coming generations and make a mark on the global platform!!! Time to Wake Up! We wholeheartedly thank DC #Deepa_Cholan ma’am for inviting all the stakeholders, discussing various issues and concerns and taking proactive quick decisions regarding the conservation and development of Lakes and parks in Dharwad. Funds have also been sanctioned for all the works. #HDMC_Commissioner #Mr_Suresh_Itnal, #HDUDA, #UAS and officials from other departments were also there who catalyzed these decisions. Deputy Commissioner of Dharwad #Smt_Deepa_Cholan visited Kelgeri bridge and appreciated the transformational work done by everyone. She also held discussions regarding Kelgeri lake, sadhankeri lake, Kolikere lake and other lakes assuring us that their developmental work will begin soon. We shared our grievances and discussed about how we should protect, preserve and develop our lakes in an eco friendly manner as they are our lifelines. We also highlighted the urgent requirement of security guards and overall maintenance of the lake
To discuss about these aspects in detail she has called for an official meeting of all the stakeholders at her office on 6th December. Funds will shortly be released for the same.
We also felicitated Zonal assistant commissioner #Mr_Sabarad who collaborated with us to clean the Kelgeri bridge with HDMC staff. Thank you to everyone who joined hands to beautify our city!
