Why:
This Center for Learning, Innovation, Creativity and Startup (CLICS) has been launched for the students, parents, businesses, leadership and the district public offices in the region to work cohesively on sustainable projects that help our students, community and environment grow.
How:
Students may start on innovative learning programs and projects, professionals/parents may start up on their ideas from home and institutions/communities may launch their own CLICS for schools or work.
What:
CLICS will provide the grants, platform, program: curriculum/skill development, projects+opportunities, technology and expertise to enable sustainable ideas that help one and all in the region to grow.
Who:
All age groups may join with. Students, individuals, teachers, parents, professionals, businesses, public/government sectors are invited to join.
When:
Timings are flexible and you may join at your own convenience.
Where:
You may join remotely with an internet connected device or on premise where available.

It was an honour to inaugurate the #Education_and_Awareness_Programme on #Cervical_Cancer conducted at Lamington Girls High School by #Lions_Club_of_Hubli_Parivar in collaboration with #HCG_NMR_Cancer_Centre. Thank you Shri.Mahendra Singhi ji for inviting me as the Chief Guest. Your work for the upliftment of the society inspires me.
In view of creating awareness on Cervical cancer, #Dr_Lepakshi and #Dr_Archana briefed on early signs and Vaccination program for Cervical Cancer. Education material alongwith information about Free Screening camp and Vaccination programme with benefits were handed over to the students and their parents.
Despite being highly preventable through early screening methods and vaccination, cervical cancer remains the fourth most common cause of cancer among women worldwide.
Research into cervical cancer prevention, diagnostics, signaling pathways, and therapeutics is therefore crucial.

It was an enriching experience flagging off the Vehicle for ‘#Biz_Sakhi_On_Wheels_Project with the esteemed guests #Mr_Clement_Chauvet, Chief skills and Development Manager from #United_Nations_Development_Programme, #Ms_Vandana_Verma, Programme Director of #IKEA Foundation, Mr. Vivek Pawar CEO of Deshpande Foundation and other dignitaries.
Interacting with the Women entrepreneurs we understood their talents, dreams, strengths and challenges and motivated them to not only empower themselves but also form a strong network of Biz Sakhis who can become a support system and help each other personally and professionally to bring out the best from within.
