Passion Fruit Tree Planting – Soil & Method Today, we planted passion fruit saplings using a simple, sustainable soil method. What we used:

  • Local soil
  • Sand and small stones for drainage
  • Organic matter (dry leaves / natural compost)
  • Reused plastic bottles with holes for slow watering
  • Water (no chemical fertilizers)
How we did it:
  1. We loosened the soil to help roots breathe.
  2. We added sand and stones at the bottom to prevent waterlogging.
  3. We mixed organic matter into the soil to improve nutrients.
  4. We planted the sapling carefully, keeping roots straight.
  5. We placed a perforated bottle near the plant to allow slow, efficient watering.
What we learned: Healthy plants depend on healthy soil, good drainage, and patient care. By improving soil naturally, we reduce the need for chemicals and support long-term growth. This activity connects to AIMS sustainability values—awareness, responsible action, and learning from nature. Strong soil today means strong vines tomorrow.

The summary of the session on 15th of December. It is conducted by sir Abhi. First we shared our experiences and what we payed attention and what we didn't payed attention in previous week. Topic - Volcano Eruption When a volcano erupts, lava comes out. Lava is a red and orange colored liquid. Lava is very hot. After the lava comes out of the volcano, it cools and turns into rocks. When we go to the inside of the Earth, there is lava. Therefore, this Earth is made of lava. In our lifetime, the only thing we can see that is like lava is the sun. The sun is like lava.
