It was an enriching day spent at the dynamic institution KLEIT,Hubballi. We inaugurated the NSS team and together took an oath to become Smart World-Class Leaders! We will Walk the Talk and without wasting any time began our Blood donation Camp where 120 units of blood was donated for the needy!

Dr. Veeragangadhar Nitali inspired the youngsters to become lifesavers by donating blood and beautifully explained both the Psychological and Physical benefits of it. Dr. Mahesh Raikar with his informative and impactful message challenged the students to bring out the best in themselves and serve the nation!

Dharwad intensifies it’s battle for Kelgeri Lake Conservation! ——————————————————————– Within 12 hours of observing the carcinogenic froth building up at the lake and reporting it to the concerned people,citizens and officials took the issue up on a war footing. Given below are the highlights 1. Media extensively covered the issue and possible solutions to highlight the apathy shown towards the historic lake. 2. Hubballi-Dharwad Muncipal Corporation led by Zone 1 Assistant Commissioner Mr. Vijay Samrat sent their officials and workers to clear up the blockages in the gutters and pipelines for diversion of sewage water from Kelgeri Lake. By Friday they have assured that they will clear it up. 3. Noted Environmentalist Panchayya Virupaxayya Hiremath voluntarily created a bund with a Backhoe Loader to stop the sewage water inflow into the lake and created a channel redirecting it away from the lake. 4. Karnataka State Pollution Control Board’s Mr. Vijaykumar with his team investigated and took samples of the lake water and sewage water to study the quality and contamination in detail. 5.
