Steam Session: Fixing a problem

Step 1: staying calm, patient, thinking, ideas, team work, listening, breathing
Step 2: write down problem : abhi cannot hear the kids.
Step 3: what is the easiest step: restart software, still problem persists
Step 4: test abhi's speakers, working. then test mic at amitsu.
Step 5: Problem found: mic not working
Step 6: easiest fix: try putting the mic in another port
Step 7: and it worked
What if it had not: try cleaning cable, go to setting and check, restarting the computer, should we exchange the mic's from another computer
Edison used this method: he would try the 10, 100 or more ideas one by one to fix the problems when inventing the bulb ..and finally he arrived at the solution

Registrations for 10 schools.
Training for 5 schools on the iI virtual platform.(29 teachers trained 19 by iI and 10 cross training.)
Classroom sessions for 10th graders - 3 schools have started,2 more will start from Monday.11 sessions approx. 15 kids per sessions.
Weekly status report shared with the office of Public Instructions office.
Health/Dr. Tree - Ability to live stream from WebEx to FB/YouTube. We can accomplish the phone, WebEx and social media channel and be broadcasted on the DDCLICS site.

Timely interventions & symptoms.(Dr. Sachin / Dr. Sattur been appointed by the Govt. of India panel to discuss the health steps) - community.

Audience/process

For Schools Pediatrician - Need to talk to Maj. if need to include only the 10 schools in our queue or the others as well.
20 min talk and then Q&A. Have the kids ready with questions per school
Invite schools and community.

On the webex only members of the project rest join over the phone.

The sessions to be made interesting for the kids through presentation/activities/re-enforcement.

DDCLICS (COVID Solution Updates -

The volunteers have started testing, vaccination drive (on hold by DC),awareness camp on reporting violations of COVID Norms. These volunteers were involved from phase #1 and trained and if there are new norms it will be shared with them. Need to recognize a volunteer who was there from day 1 when this project started and has broken records from testing etc, by encouraging the community. Mr. Vijay : Accomplishments :

Teachers are available to engage classes to enable the kids pass their exams+ attempt.
Vijay sir from his end can enable complimentary 2 months class for 10 grades to ensure kids pass their exams (onsite/virtual).

Plan/Next Steps :

Mr. Vijay will present his plan/program on how the kids can pass their exams and excel from their academic's standpoint.
June : Assessment of the kids in terms of simple Questions if there are no exams.
External Class, exams, fees - needs to be approved by the state government - Maj. Hiremath to give more clarity. - Need to plan on how it does not impact anyone, example Students completing the assessment winning the grants.
Preparing for exams and if the exams don't happen alternate exams, this will enable satisfaction of the kids, our team and the District.

Projects/actvities from iINVENT where the kids from different age groups can observe, learn and present that can range from daily to a week.
From an academic standpoint - Vinay sir to draft 3-5 questions per subject from an academic's standpoint for different age groups where the write papers or apply it.

NABROS INDIA CLICS : Accomplishments :

3 schools Betadhur, Devikoppa, Shirur have registered on DDCLICS EDU.
Online classes for GHS Betadhur and GHS Shirur for 10th graders will start from 23rd April on the iI platform. GHS Devikoppa will start from the coming Monday 26th April.
Training for GHS Betadhur and GHS Shirur completed.
DDCLICS EDU website has been updated.
Received the list Public Holiday and Program + Toll free number from DDPI.

Ottilie, Mr. Joseph Franklin and Ms. Ranjeeta K Following are the minutes of meeting - Mr. Franklin Josheph is been introduced by the Ottilie - Presently Betadoor school running offsite classes as 10th Grade students are coming to class - DDCLICS logo has been put in the DDclics page - We will wait for the schools to get back - We are trying to build the bridge between school and students at rural area - If we look at the very first screen, it asks to share AIMS and its all about grant - Abhi explained the DDclics page in details to the all attendees - All the rules are in place so that we are covered legally - Regarding the PACT , we are including the things which can improve the safety of citizens. Will have the panel where lawyer, police , legal health dept., counselors and also institution where they teach personal safety. - About the children improvement ,we can prepare videos, documentation of before and after, how it is transformed the kids , what are the issues they were facing and etc - Previous map for Covid like how we have covered volunteers and officers contact details the same way would be helpful here also. it will be empowering information as its not provided anywhere. and there is no risk in sharing these details - The students will apply for the grant with details and we will verify then it will appear on page - The students subscribe to ELF as there are potential grants - Mr. Joseph shared that, map is little confusing and even the DD clics page is , it should be kept simple - Maps and content will take high MBPS speed hence they take lot of time - The way the DDclics was designed ,the technical team did the regression testing and performance with particular app test met the criteria and after its launched and there will be always room for improvement . - At this juncture this is the overall simple design that we have for to incorporate the grant as well as the project and the partner - Ottilie and Frank can leave the feedback and suggestion on DDclics page

Minutes : Status Meeting Attendees : Mr.Mason I Gerard I Harry I Loni Sagio Date : 1st April 2021 Accomplishments : None. Plan/Next Steps : 1.Mrs.Loni Sagio's has connected to a school in India(Krishna Public School Raipur) where the kids make small project in relation to culture one what was done and exchanged between the kids was a recipe book. 2.Mr.Mason will visit Mrs.Loni Sagio's 7th grade class next week after Easter and present to the kids the idea of the pen pal program through Mason CLICS, so that the kids can use this platform to continue on their cross cultural and geography class projects. Also these kids who are in 7th will go to their 8th grade that Mr. Mason teaches so that he can continue the efforts with them. 3.Harry has informed Mr. Oguro to inform his students to respond to the replies of their letters but has not heard back,he will follow up with him once more and also check with him if the new students who will start in his class in April would participate in the pen pal program.Harry will also reach out to other interested kids that he knows off and guide them to participate in the pen pal program. 4.The plan is to start the monthly brainstorm session from this month with the OG group, one recommendation is to start with simple topics like what we learn in our school where kids from different parts of the glob join and discuss their ideas, culture, learnings etc. 5.The request is to move this meeting to 6:30 am CST every alternate Thursday, we will have this one call where we also discuss OG CLICS. Based on the situation , based on the nature of change one requires time to change
Emotional changes takes lot of time compared to physical changes or environmental changes
everyone has ability to adopt the change and accept the change but fear makes on to resist the change.
